Fabricated and installed from one Henderson shop

Who fabricates countertops for the Las Vegas valley
Calder does. We’re a stone fabricator with our own shop, where we cut every slab. The crew that cut it then installs it, across the valley and in the communities around it. Homeowners work with us directly, and designers, architects and builders deal with the same shop and the same people.
How it runs
One shop and one crew
Calder is one building and one crew. Slabs come in on the truck, and the one you pick is the one we cut. We measure your home with a laser, then cut the stone on our five-axis bridge saw and finish it under the same roof. The crew that cuts your stone installs it, so the job never gets handed to a stranger partway through. See the fabrication shop for a closer look at how it runs.
We install across the Las Vegas metro and the rest of the valley, from established communities near the shop to newer ones further out. If your address is in the valley, we can very likely get to it. If you’re not sure, start a quote or get in touch and we’ll confirm before you spend any more time on it.
Where we work
Five communities we know well
These are parts of the valley where we’re asked for custom stone work often. They range from guard-gated hillside communities to master-planned ones with a mix of production and custom homes.

McDonald Highlands
McDonald Highlands is a guard-gated community of large custom homes built into the hillside. The great rooms usually have space for full-height fireplace surrounds and feature walls in large-format slab, on top of the kitchen and bath work every home needs.

Seven Hills
Seven Hills is an established upscale community near Rio Secco. It’s close enough to our shop that the measurement visit is quick to schedule and a shop tour is a short drive. Most remodels here are kitchen and bathroom countertops.

The Fountains
The Fountains is a gated community in Green Valley, one of the older neighborhoods in the area. The usual job here is a kitchen update, a new vanity top, or both.

Lake Las Vegas
Lake Las Vegas is a resort community on the lake, and people there spend a lot of time outside. We build outdoor kitchens and BBQ surrounds here more often than in most of the valley, along with indoor kitchen and bath work.

Anthem
Anthem is a master-planned community that includes Anthem Country Club, with homes of many sizes and ages. Most of the work here is kitchen and bathroom countertops.
One shop, nearby
Why local matters for stone
With countertops, the slab you pick has to be the exact slab that gets cut, and the measurements taken in your home have to be right before the saw touches the stone. A local stone fabricator that does the whole job in one shop, with no subcontractors, has more control over each of those steps:
You choose your slab. The slab you pick is the one we lay out and cut in our own shop, so the veining lands where you approved it.
Measurement is done in person, with a laser. Those numbers go straight into the saw that cuts your stone, so nobody has to estimate anything between the template and the finished top.
One crew fabricates and installs. The people who cut and finish your stone are the people who set it in your home, so details don’t get lost between a fabrication shop and a separate install team.
That’s much harder to do from a shop three states away or through subcontractors spread across the valley. We can do it because the shop, the saw and the crew are in one place, close to the communities we serve.

Service-area questions, answered
- What if my neighborhood isn't listed here?
- We most likely still cover it. We serve the whole Las Vegas valley and the communities around it. McDonald Highlands, Seven Hills, The Fountains, Lake Las Vegas and Anthem are the neighborhoods we wrote pages for. If you don’t see yours listed, ask us directly and we’ll tell you.
- Where is the Calder shop?
- Our fabrication shop is in Henderson, Nevada. Every slab is cut there, and you can tour it by appointment. See the shop for more on how it works.
- Can I tour the shop before I commit?
- Yes. Shop tours are by appointment, and designers are welcome to bring a client along. Start a quote or book a tour to set it up.
- What's your service radius?
- We install countertops across the Las Vegas metro and the rest of the valley. If your project is near the edge of that range, ask us and we’ll confirm before you plan around it.
